Job Description - Purchasing Manager:

    Purchasing Manager is needed to perform the following duties:

  • Build and maintain relationships with present excipients manufacturers and distributors
  • Identify and capitalize on the cost reduction opportunities; Take ownership for delivering end to end sourcing activity for appropriate complexity projects.
  • Review new item opportunities and determine the scope of market.
  • Negotiate best in class price, credit, quality and delivery terms to achieve cost reduction and working capital objective
  • Gather and share information that is critical for defining better guidelines and standard routines for the handling of vitamins and premixes
  • Identify new materials opportunities and assess possibilities of re-deployment in process.
  • Establish supplier agreements that mitigate inventory risk, while ensuring that material is available for production in a timely fashion
  • Negotiate best in class price, credit, quality and delivery terms to achieve cost reduction and working capital objective.
  • Identify market opportunities, develop, implement and manage solutions, and provide subject matter expertise in complex situations
  • Evaluate and pursue various alternatives to market entry inclusive of organic development, partnership and acquisition
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP and FDA regulations.
  • Drive accountability and continuous improvement through training, SOPs and workflows as needed to proactively improve quality, efficiency, and standardization.
  • Direct Quality Department operations, provide education and train staff related to quality arena.
  • Develop departmental strategy and vision to ensure adherence with customer expectations.
  • Monitor quality activities to ensure company & products comply with quality standards.
  • Develop quality specifications for all components, raw materials and services.
  • Maintain quality control records on all items manufactured
  • Develop protocols and final approval of validation activities.
  • Provide quality risk assessment to projects and processes.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the wider quality control organization ensuring company-wide effective, efficient and compliant operations.

Bachelor Degree is required in Management or Supply Chain or Logistics
